Airport transfers

The distance from Malta International Airport is an approximately 20-minute drive outside rush hour times.

Delegates with accommodation booked at official CHOGM hotels such as the Corinthia St George, Marina Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel can take advantage of the free airport transfers available on arrival at Malta International Airport. Return transport from CHOGM hotels can be arranged during the CPF via the CPF Help Desk located at the Corinthia Hotel. Delegates not staying at official CHOGM hotels can easily arrange transfers on arrival using taxis or the Malta Transfer airport shuttle service. Please travel to Malta with a copy of your Accreditation Certificate.

Car Parking at the CPF

Free parking will be available for registered CPF delegates in the public car park opposite the ITS school. A reduced daily rate of €3 will be charged for parking in the hotel car park, which can be paid for prior to exiting at the Corinthia reception desk.

CPF Help Desk & accreditation pass collection

A CPF Help Desk will be in operation from the lobby of the Corinthia Hotel from 1100-1600 on Sunday 22 November, and daily throughout the CPF. Accreditation passes for accredited CPF delegates will be distributed from the CPF Help Desk. A valid CPF accreditation pass is necessary to access the CPF.

Special events

The CPF programme includes two special events with limited access that delegates can register for at the Help Desk from 22 November. These are the Commonwealth Secretary General Candidates’ Dialogue with Civil Society at the Parliament of Malta on 25 November; and Gozo Day on 26 November. International delegates will be given priority to register for Gozo Day. Registrations for Gozo Day will close at 4PM on 23 November. Registrations for the Secretary General event will close at 3PM on 24 November.
